All menu commands along with additional information may be obtained by selecting HELP - INDEX. 2 PAINT SHOP DISTRIBUTION Copies of Paint Shop may be freely distributed, provided that PS.exe, PS.txt and PS.hlp are distributed togeather. These sources are CompuServe and PC-Library. Obtaining from PC-Library: PC-Library is a BBS in Minnesota that operates 24 hours a day. Guests may log on by calling 1-612-435-8058. Or if your local BBS supports Connect-USA, you may get onto PC-Library that way. Members of PC-Library can use MNP and baud rates to 9600. After connecting with PC-Library, you will have to answer some basic information about your screen width and your name and address. You will then be asked to select a user-id and password. Once you have done the above, a "Main" menu will be displayed. At the prompt type in: f s guest d ps What does that entry mean? f = files s = select library guest = is the name of the library d = download ps = do a search with the first 2 letters as ps You will now have a display of the files that match "ps". One of them will be Paint Shop. Select the number of the file that is Paint Shop. The full discription of Paint Shop will be displayed. You will be prompted what todo next. Enter the letter of the download protocol that you want to use, and then initiate your download. After the download is complete, type in x This will exit the system. Obtaining from CompuServe: Use your normal routine for downloading files from Compuserve. Paint Shop will be in the following areas, as long as the Sysops continue to allow me to upload them there.
